Sick of typhoon stories yet? Yeah, me too. Deal with it. <--You know what's funny? I wrote this after Sanba. Before Jelawat even happened.
Typhoon Sanba (back around September 15-16) was actually a nice little storm, resulting in the cancellation of all of our social events on Saturday afternoon that I'd very carefully planned to save up my energy for on Saturday morning, all of which resulted in a very long time of just me and the Mischief Ninja cooped up in the house, alone together. I'm proud to say that he rocked yet another accident-free typhoon!
The wind was howly and there was a decent amount of rain. Our only power loss was a flicker in the middle of the night, and our greatest hardship (besides hauling our porch stuff in and our, geckos/giant spiders included) was waking up to a stuffy house because the air conditioners hadn't turned back on with the power. We figured we were done with typhoons for the season...
